Description
The Sunbank Smart Home Controller (or smart thermostat) is our most versatile and easy to operate controller option. The smart home controller mounts on the tank in a weatherproof enclosure (included) and is programmed via a 2.4 GHz WiFi connection and a smart phone app. The controller works like a normal thermostat in that it turns on the back up heating element when the Sunbank temperature falls below your set point. It can be set to monitor the temperature all day or only during a certain time period. It also gives you the ability to check your Sunbank temperature anytime and from anywhere with an internet connection. Includes the weatherproof enclosure, smart controller, sensor wire, coupler, and thermowell.
The Sunbank Smart Home Controller can also integrate with other smart home devices. It works with smart plugs which you can plug a pump into in order to give you instant hot water at the tap, to send excess heat to a pool or hot tub, or for standard overheat and freeze protection. It also works with Google Home and Amazon Alexa, so that you can say, “Google, turn off the Sunbank” or “Alexa, turn on the recirculation pump.”
